FORMULA LIBRE IRELAND AT THE IRISH FESTIVAL OF SPEED

Formula Libre Ireland prime mover Dan Daly and his family team took time out from their racing programme to demonstrate the ex Rubens Barichello Jordan 192, now Cosworth DFV powered though still resplendent in it’s period Sasol livery. The event was the inaugural Irish Festival of Speed which was held in the grounds of the Adare Manor Hotel in Co Limerick over the August bank holiday weekend. It proved a huge success for its organisers prominent among them being another Formula Libre racer Donal Griffin. Limerick Motor Club ran a sprint event which was won by yet another Libre regular Sylvie Mullins from Simon McKinley and local man Paul O’Connell.
